I would make one addition to these “top ten reasons to restore wood windows” provided by the Window Preservation Association.   Windows are not only meant to keep cold air from infiltrating in winter months but, also, to keep cool, conditioned air from escaping.  Properly restored windows are beneficial not only for the winter months but, also, for the dog days of August.  Here, then, are ten more reasons to restore historic and vintage windows.
