Any moving parts that need to fit together--doors, windows, cabinet drawers--can fall out of alignment. A door, for instance, that doesn't open and shut properly, may need to have its hinges realigned. A casement window which has swollen and/or warped may need to have its edges planed down. The runners and stops which maintain smooth functioning of cabinet drawers may need to be repaired or replaced. These are just a few of the kinds of repairs we can do to recover the smooth operation of conjoining architectural elements. |
